How long does it take before I can use my Domain name?
After registering a domain with NewTechLabs or any other registrar, it typically takes between 24 and 72 hours for your domain to show up in the WHOIS database and for the information on the new domain to propagate to all the root DNS servers. It takes some time to propagate to other databases.
Nevertheless, once you register a domain through NewTechLabs, you have the undisputed registration of the domain. You can check with any whois server to see that the domain names are registered to you.
If you check for the availability of the domain in the WHOIS database, the database may indicate that the domain is available when it is not. However, if someone tries to register the domain with another registrar, they will be unable to because the master database is updated immediately when you register a domain.
Once the domain is active, you can start to upload your files onto your website. If you have chosen our free URL redirecting or email forwarding, they should take effect once the domain is active.
